Yoni Jesner Scholarships

Do you have what it takes to be a Yoni Jesner Scholar?

Yoni was spending his second gap year studying in Israel at the time of his death. The Yoni Jesner Scholarships aim to assist other students wishing to spend a year in Israel before commencing their university studies.

Scholarships will be provided for year-long structured educational programmes that may include Jewish studies, study of Israel, its history and culture and working with local communities.

Yoni Jesner Scholarships are awarded (based on merit) to exceptional individuals who can demonstrate, amongst other things, a special kind of activism within their community and evidence of excellence.

Prospective Yoni Jesner Scholars must be nominated by third parties, preferably not by family members. The nominator must complete and submit a nomination form and selected nominees will be asked to complete an application form. A short list of nominees will be invited to attend interviews and then a decision will follow on awarding the Yoni Jesner Scholarships.
