The 6th annual Yoni Jesner Awards Ceremony was held on 11th June 2012 in London.

The Yoni Jesner Awards celebrates the achievements of our youth in community service, doing and caring more, just as Yoni did.

120 pupils received the Yoni Jesner Award from the Chief Rabbi for volunteering in the community during the past year.

It was a most beautiful and moving event. An audience of 300 watched as the 120 young pupils spoke about their experiences in volunteering throughout the year, and how much they have learned and changed by following Yoni's example of caring.

The YJF is proud to post Hanna Baderman's blog. Hanna is the recipient of this year's Yoni Jesner Scholarship, chosen from a group of applicants of exceptionally high standard. Follow her as she shares her thoughts and experiences of her gap year in Israel.
